Beauty Kaki Wannabe Must Know! | 5 Steps MUST DO to Pick The Right Beauty Products

Hey girls, I know there is a wide range of beauty products in the market. Usually people they don’t really makeup, they will ask me this kind of question in Malaysian accent (Yes, I am Malaysian…).

Below is the TOP 3 question from them:

1. Hey, what is the basic cosmetic I need to buy ah? I am beginner only leh…
2. The cosmetic set expensive not? I’ve no budget one leh, but I want to get all la…
3. Which brand nicer ah? It won’t cause me acne right?

Ok……. From my point of view, yes of course you can get cheap one as in basic one first, then slowly you will find your favourite brand or products.

For beginner I will suggest you look for drugstore’s products. Eg. Watson, Sasa, Guardian and etc.. The beauty products there had reasonable price with standard or sometime they have the products is more than standard quality.

I am stated the 5 thing I usually do when I looking for the right skincare or cosmetic products.

5 Steps MUST DO to Pick The Right Beauty Products (Skincare/Cosmetics)

1. Identify your skin type

   
   NORMAL SKIN TYPE
   Normal skin is not too dry and not too oily. It has:

   • No or few imperfections
   • No severe sensitivity
   • Barely visible pores
   • A radiant complexion

   COMBINATION SKIN TYPE
   A combination skin type can be dry or normal in some areas and oily in others, such as the T-zone (nose, forehead, and chin). Many people have combination skin, which may benefit from slightly different types of skin care in different areas.

   Combination skin can produce:

   • Overly dilated pores
   • Blackheads
   • Shiny skin

   DRY SKIN TYPE
   When exposed to drying factors, skin can crack, peel, or become itchy, irritated, or inflamed. If your skin is very dry, it can become rough and scaly, especially on the backs of your hands, arms, and legs.

   Dry skin can produce:

   • Almost invisible pores
   • Dull, rough complexion
   • Red patches
   • Less elasticity
   • More visible lines

   OILY SKIN TYPE
   Oily skin can produce:

   • Enlarged pores
   • Dull or shiny, thick complexion
   • Blackheads, pimples, or other blemishes.

2. Research before you buy!

   You can always google or youtube before you go to the shop. Now a days a lot of blogger or youtuber review the products. Do check the ingredient and also the Pros and Cons of the products. Possible to look for more testimonial and review.

3. Make Comparison

   Eg. You’re looking for a liquid foundation, you may look for some video which reviewed by different country people… They might be American or Asian. A simple foundation they might have different outcome on different skin tone (no racist), skin type, weather and etc.

   Usually I will look for American review first then only go into Asian. American they got variety on the beauty products which I am more interesting. After I pick the few that I like then I will only go to the Asian review for further details.

4. Get advise and try it before you buy!

   You may go to the counter and ask for advise and test out. Especially for beginner, I prefer you try on the product on your hand before you buy.
   Yes, I understand you’ve no idea with the texture or the colors, but at least you have the option when you buy. You got a lot of research but the you also might not happy with the smell or texture like those people.

5. SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!

   Finally I got my cosmetics and just pay the money and THAT’S ALL!!!
   YOU’RE GRADUATED!! Welcome to the world of makeup ❤ ❤ lol

[Tutorial] Year End Party Makeup Look | Florence & Lace

Hi girls! It’s end of the year, I know everyone is planning parties and events so I was thinking to make this video for you all have the concept and idea of smoky and party makeup look!

1. EYE PRIMER
   Urban Decay Primer Potion
   – Makes your eyeshadow stay vibrant and longer!
2. EYESHADOW (1st Layer)
   Urban Decay Naked 2 (YDK)
   – Using a light color shimmer shade as a base
3. EYESHADOW (2nd Layer)
   Urban Decay Naked 2 (Busted)
   – Then we using a pencil brush to apply the medium brownish color at the end of the eyes
4. EYESHADOW (3rd Layer)
   Urban Decay Naked 2 (Busted)
   – Together with a little black color to create a contrast smoky shadow at the end of the eyes
5. EYEBROW
   Cybercolor 24hrs Eyebrow Pen
   – Then, as usual straight eyebrow
6. DOUBLE EYELID LACE
   – Next, I need bigger eyes, so I am using this double eyelid lace to create a bigger eyelid.
7. BB CREAM
   Sekkisei Kose White BB Cream
   – Do apply your face primer before your foundation or BB cream, it can makes your makeup stay longer!
8. CONCEAL (Undereye Area)
   M.A.C PRO Longwear Concealer
   – Yes! Under eye concealer! I am using warmest colour to hide my panda eyes! haha
9. CONCEAL (Darkspot)
   Chanel Le Blanc Concealer
   – And also darkspot and acne, hide them up! haha!
10. EYESHADOW
    Urban Decay Naked 2 (Busted)
    – Go back to eye makeup, apply the medium brownish color under the waterline..
11. EYELINER (Waterline)
    MaryKay Liquid Eyeliner Pen
    – Oh ya! and also fill the water line with black color eyeliner.
12. CURL EYELASHES
    Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler
    – Curl your eyelash
13. MASCARA
    NARS Audacious Mascara
    – Apply few or many layers of the mascara!
14. EYESHADOW (Highlight)
    Urban Decay Naked 2 (Bootycall)
    – Using a light shade as the highlight on the outer V of the eyes
15. LIP
    Femmue Rouge in Rose
    – Apply some concealer around your lips and bring the pink lips on!
16. CHEEK
    Laneige K Secret Cushion Tint
    – And then using this lip tinted as my cream blushes. I only apply on the top of the cheek bone because it looks younger on me haha. And then blend it out.
17. HIGHLIGHT
    Laneige Cushion Highlighter
    – You know lah, I need to shine on the dance floor, so I need to have my face in contrast, so highlight your face girls!
18. CURL YOUR HAIR
    (I am using the small hair straightener in the video)
    Curl the end of the hair to make it more natural.
19. SETTING & DONE!

[Event] Triumph ‘Find the One’ Media Event

First of all, what do you think of Triumph?

My friendssss’ answer:
‘Very expensive lo…. Pattern a bit old fashion lo…’

My answer:
Yes. It is pricey but it really worth the price! The quality and the ‘supportive’ of the bra is superb! They’re in my list of my fit bra brand!

My cup size is 34C, usually I cannot wear the bra without the strips because the bra might not be ‘carry’ my boobs! *haha* So I need to wear full cup, means what? I can’t wear off-shoulder clothes, deep V or even low back dress.. How sad is the life…
